About this exercise

A dynamic full-body exercise that primarily strengthens the core and shoulders while building cardiovascular endurance.

How to Perform

  • Start in a plank position with your hands under your shoulders and your body in a straight line
  • Brace your core and keep your back flat throughout the movement
  • Drive your right knee toward your chest while keeping your left leg extended
  • Switch legs, driving your left knee toward your chest as you extend your right leg back
  • Continue alternating legs at a quick, controlled pace
