About this exercise

A floor core exercise where you lie on your back with legs raised vertically against a wall, then rotate and reach each hand toward the opposite foot. The wall keeps the legs elevated at a constant angle, allowing you to concentrate on the rotational oblique contraction.

How to Perform

  • Lie on your back with your buttocks close to the base of a wall and legs extended up the wall
  • Extend both arms out to the sides at shoulder height
  • Engage your core and lift your shoulder blades off the floor
  • Rotate your torso to the right and reach your right hand toward your left foot on the wall
  • Return to centre with shoulder blades still lifted
  • Rotate to the left and reach your left hand toward your right foot
  • Keep the movement controlled and avoid swinging the arms
  • Repeat for the desired number of repetitions per side
