About this exercise

An isometric core exercise where you lie on your back and hold both legs approximately six inches off the floor. The sustained tension challenges the lower abs and hip flexors, building endurance and core stability.

How to Perform

  • Lie flat on your back on the floor with legs straight and arms at your sides
  • Press your lower back firmly into the floor by bracing your core
  • Lift both legs together until they are approximately six inches off the ground
  • Keep your legs straight and feet together throughout the hold
  • Hold the position for the prescribed duration while breathing steadily
  • Lower your legs slowly back to the floor to complete the set
