About this exercise

A biceps exercise performed lying on the back, where a towel looped around both feet provides resistance for a neutral-grip (hammer) curl. By using the legs as an anchor, this movement builds biceps and brachialis strength without any traditional weights.

How to Perform

  • Lie flat on your back and loop a towel around both feet, holding one end of the towel in each hand with a neutral (palms-facing-in) grip
  • Extend your arms fully toward your feet to create tension in the towel
  • Bend your elbows and curl your hands toward your shoulders, pulling against the resistance of your legs
  • Squeeze the biceps at the top of the movement
  • Slowly lower your hands back to the starting position, fully extending the arms
  • Repeat for the desired number of repetitions
