About this exercise

A plate-loaded lever machine triceps extension that isolates the triceps through a controlled pressing or pushdown arc. The fixed lever path removes stabiliser demand, letting you focus entirely on full triceps contraction.

How to Perform

  • Adjust the machine seat and pad position so your elbows rest comfortably on the support at the start of the movement
  • Grip the handles and begin with your arms at roughly a 90-degree bend
  • Extend your arms fully by pressing down or forward through the lever arc, squeezing the triceps at full extension
  • Pause briefly at the bottom, then slowly return to the starting position under control
  • Keep your elbows fixed and your upper arms still throughout each repetition
