How to Perform

  • Load the appropriate weight onto the machine and position yourself lying flat on the pad with your head at the pressing end
  • Grip the handle with one hand and position your elbow roughly in line with your shoulder
  • Press the handle away from your chest in a controlled arc until your arm is fully extended
  • Squeeze your chest at the full extension point and pause briefly
  • Return the handle to the starting position through the full range of motion
  • Complete all reps on one arm before switching sides
