About this exercise

The Lever Incline Shoulder Press is a machine press performed seated against an inclined back pad, pushing the handles from shoulder height up overhead. The guided path lets you load the front delts safely, with the triceps and upper chest assisting throughout the press.

How to Perform

  • Set the seat so the handles start at shoulder height and sit with your back firmly against the pad
  • Grip the handles and keep your feet flat on the floor
  • Press the handles up until your arms are fully extended overhead
  • Lower the handles back to shoulder height under control
  • Repeat for the desired number of repetitions
