About this exercise

A plate-loaded lever machine high row variation targeting the upper and mid back with a distinct grip or body angle compared to other versions. The chest pad support isolates the back muscles and removes lower-back involvement, allowing greater focus on lat and rhomboid activation.

  • Sit facing the machine and press your chest firmly into the support pad
  • Grip the handles in the designated position for this version
  • Begin with arms fully extended, keeping a slight bend at the elbow
