About this exercise

The landmine shoulder-to-shoulder press is a pressing movement using one end of a barbell anchored in a landmine attachment. You press the bar in an arc from one shoulder across to the opposite shoulder, challenging the deltoids and core stability throughout the range of motion.

How to Perform

  • Stand facing the landmine, feet shoulder-width apart with a slight bend in your knees
  • Grip the sleeve end of the barbell with both hands and hold it at one shoulder
  • Brace your core and press the bar upward and across your body in a smooth arc
  • Guide the bar down to the opposite shoulder under control
  • Pause briefly at the opposite shoulder, then press back across to the starting shoulder
  • Continue alternating for the desired number of repetitions
