About this exercise

A wall-assisted squat drill performed with knees and toes turned inward to challenge hip and knee mobility. Using the wall for support allows you to safely explore the bottom position while training inner thigh and quadriceps control through an unusual range of motion.

How to Perform

  • Stand facing a wall with your toes a few centimetres from the baseboard
  • Turn your feet inward so both knees and toes point slightly toward each other
  • Place your hands lightly on the wall for balance
  • Slowly slide down into a squat by bending your knees while keeping them tracking over your toes
  • Descend as low as your mobility allows without your heels lifting off the floor
  • Hold briefly at the bottom, then press through your feet to return to standing
  • Repeat for the desired number of repetitions
