About this exercise

Kneeling wrist sinkers are a wrist and forearm mobility exercise performed on all fours. By gradually lowering the wrists toward the floor and sinking body weight into them, you progressively stretch the wrist flexors and extensors, improving wrist flexibility and joint health.

How to Perform

  • Start on all fours with your hands flat on the floor, fingers pointing forward and wrists under your shoulders
  • Slowly shift your body weight forward, allowing your wrists to flex as you sink them closer to the floor
  • Hold the deepest position you can reach comfortably for a few seconds
  • Gently ease the weight back to relieve the stretch
  • Repeat the sinking motion for the prescribed duration, breathing steadily throughout
  • Keep the movement slow and controlled to avoid straining the wrist joint
