The kneeling fist to palm switch is a forearm and wrist mobility drill performed from a kneeling position. Alternating between fist and open-palm contact with the floor challenges wrist stability, forearm strength, and grip control, making it a useful warm-up or rehabilitation exercise.

How to Perform

  • Kneel on the floor with your hands placed below your shoulders, fingers spread wide and palms flat
  • Shift onto your fists by curling your fingers in and pressing the knuckles into the floor
  • Return to open palms by spreading your fingers and pressing them flat against the floor
  • Continue alternating between fist and palm positions at a controlled pace
  • Keep your wrists aligned with your forearms throughout each transition
  • Perform the desired number of repetitions on each hand position
