About this exercise

A standing balance and coordination drill where you alternately tap a raised knee with the opposite hand and then reach both arms overhead. The movement trains core stability, hip flexor activation, and full-body coordination.

How to Perform

  • Stand tall with feet together and core braced
  • Lift your right knee up to hip height
  • Tap the top of your right knee with your left hand
  • Lower the right foot and simultaneously raise both arms overhead toward the sky
  • Repeat on the opposite side by lifting your left knee and tapping with your right hand
  • Continue alternating sides in a smooth, controlled rhythm
  • Keep an upright posture and avoid leaning to the side during the knee lift
