About this exercise

A dynamic bodyweight combination that pairs a lateral knee raise with a cross-body side jab, engaging the core, obliques, and cardiovascular system. The movement is commonly used as an aerobic warm-up or as part of a cardio circuit, helping to improve coordination, balance, and agility.

How to Perform

  • Stand tall with feet hip-width apart and hands raised in a guard position near your face
  • Shift your weight onto your left foot and drive your right knee up and out to the side
  • Simultaneously extend your left arm outward in a jabbing motion to the opposite side
  • Return to the starting position with control
  • Shift your weight onto your right foot and repeat the motion on the opposite side
  • Keep your core engaged throughout to maintain balance and upright posture
  • Maintain a steady rhythm, alternating sides continuously for the desired duration or reps
