About this exercise

A mobility drill that trains active knee flexion by bending the knee through its full available range of motion. It improves hamstring flexibility, restores knee joint mobility, and is commonly used as a warm-up or corrective movement.

How to Perform

  • Stand tall or lie face down on a flat surface
  • Engage your core and keep your hips level
  • Slowly bend one knee, bringing your heel toward your glutes as far as your range allows
  • Hold briefly at the end of the movement
  • Return your leg to the starting position with control and repeat on the other side
