About this exercise

A loaded carry exercise where you walk a set distance or duration holding a single kettlebell in one hand at your side. It challenges grip strength, core stability, and builds functional full-body strength while the unilateral load demands extra anti-lateral-flexion effort from the core.

How to Perform

  • Stand upright holding a kettlebell in one hand with your arm straight at your side
  • Brace your core to resist tilting toward the weighted side
  • Walk forward at a controlled, steady pace for the prescribed distance or time
  • Keep your shoulders level and your posture tall throughout the walk
  • Complete the set, then switch the kettlebell to the other hand and repeat
