About this exercise

A compound floor exercise that combines a single-leg glute bridge with a kettlebell pullover, simultaneously targeting the glutes, hamstrings, and lats. The unilateral leg position increases core demand and exposes any hip strength imbalances.

How to Perform

  • Lie on your back with one foot flat on the floor, knee bent, and the other leg extended or raised
  • Hold a kettlebell with both hands and extend your arms overhead toward the floor
  • Drive through the planted heel to lift your hips into a glute bridge while pulling the kettlebell in an arc over your chest toward your hips
  • Squeeze your glutes at the top and keep the working hip level
  • Slowly lower your hips and return the kettlebell overhead in a controlled arc
  • Complete all reps on one side, then switch legs
