About this exercise

The kettlebell hammer grip incline bench two arm row is a prone row variation where you lie face down on an incline bench and row both kettlebells simultaneously using a neutral (hammer) grip. The incline bench stabilizes the torso and eliminates lower back strain, allowing full focus on the lats and upper back.

How to Perform

  • Set an adjustable bench to a low-to-moderate incline (30–45 degrees) and lie face down with your chest on the pad
  • Hold a kettlebell in each hand with a neutral grip (palms facing each other), arms hanging straight down
  • Row both kettlebells upward by driving the elbows back and toward your hips
  • Squeeze the lats and upper back at the top of the movement
  • Lower the kettlebells under control back to the starting position
  • Repeat for the desired number of repetitions
