About this exercise

A shoulder mobility and stability drill performed in a half-kneeling position where you circle a kettlebell around your head. It challenges shoulder range of motion, core control, and hip stability simultaneously.

How to Perform

  • Kneel on one knee with the opposite foot flat on the floor in front of you, forming a 90-degree angle at both knees
  • Hold the kettlebell by the horns (the sides of the bell) with both hands at chest height
  • Press your hips forward slightly and brace your core to stabilize your torso
  • Begin circling the kettlebell around your head in a controlled arc, keeping it close to your skull
  • Complete the desired number of rotations, then reverse the direction
  • Switch the kneeling leg and repeat on the opposite side
