About this exercise

The jump on fit box is a plyometric exercise where you explosively jump from the floor onto a raised platform box, landing softly with bent knees. It develops lower-body power, explosiveness, and coordination.

How to Perform

  • Stand facing the box with feet hip-width apart, toes pointed forward
  • Bend your knees and swing your arms back to load the jump
  • Explosively extend your hips, knees, and ankles while swinging your arms forward
  • Leave the ground and bring your knees up toward your chest
  • Land softly on the box with both feet flat, knees bent to absorb the impact
  • Stand up fully on the box before stepping or jumping back down
  • Step back down to the floor one foot at a time, then reset your position
