About this exercise

A full-body bodyweight exercise that combines the inchworm walkout with a plank leg lift. Starting from standing, you walk your hands out to a plank, lift one leg at a time, and walk back up, building core stability, hamstring flexibility, and total-body coordination.

How to Perform

  • Stand with feet hip-width apart and hinge forward to place both hands on the floor in front of your feet
  • Walk your hands forward step by step until you reach a full plank position with your body in a straight line
  • Brace your core and squeeze your glute, then lift one leg straight off the floor as high as you can
  • Hold briefly at the top, then lower the leg back to the floor
  • Walk your hands back toward your feet and rise to a standing position
  • Repeat, alternating the lifted leg with each rep
