About this exercise

A glute and hamstring exercise performed lying face down on a bench with the legs extended off the end. Keeping the legs straight, you kick them alternately up and down in small rapid motions, holding the glutes and hamstrings under continuous tension.

How to Perform

  • Lie face down on a bench with your hips supported and legs extended off the end
  • Hold the bench for stability and lift both legs to hip height
  • Kick your legs alternately up and down in small controlled motions
  • Keep your legs straight and glutes engaged throughout
  • Continue for the desired time or number of repetitions
