About this exercise

An agility and plyometric drill in which you weave around two towels placed on the floor in a continuous figure-8 pattern. The constant changes of direction challenge coordination, cardiovascular conditioning, and lower-body quickness.

How to Perform

  • Place two towels on the floor roughly 1–2 metres apart
  • Stand beside one towel in an athletic stance with knees slightly bent
  • Sprint or shuffle around the first towel, curving toward the second in a figure-8 path
  • Keep your chest up and weight on the balls of your feet throughout
  • Continue weaving around both towels for the desired number of repetitions or time
