EasyOuter forearm

About this exercise

The EZ bar seated wrist reverse curl targets the forearm extensors by curling the wrists upward while seated with forearms resting on the thighs. The seated position stabilizes the arms and allows full focus on the forearm extensors, while the angled EZ bar grip reduces wrist joint stress.

How to Perform

  • Sit on a bench holding an EZ barbell with an overhand (palms-down) grip, hands shoulder-width apart
  • Rest your forearms on your thighs so your wrists hang just past your knees
  • Allow your wrists to drop toward the floor to achieve a full stretch in the forearm extensors
  • Curl your wrists upward as far as possible, contracting the forearm extensors at the top
  • Lower the bar back slowly under control to the starting position
  • Repeat for the desired number of repetitions
