About this exercise

The exercise ball wall squat places a stability ball between your lower back and the wall, providing guided support as you perform a squat. How to Perform

  • Place a stability ball between your lower back and a smooth wall, then lean lightly into it
  • Stand with feet shoulder-width apart and positioned slightly in front of your body so your shins stay vertical at the bottom
  • Engage your core and keep your arms at your sides or extended in front for balance
  • Slowly bend your knees and roll down the ball, descending until your thighs are parallel to the floor
