About this exercise

A dynamic core exercise performed in an elbow plank where you hop your feet between three positions — center, left, and right. Each hop sequence challenges core stability, hip mobility, and lower-body power while forcing your midsection to resist rotation and maintain a neutral spine.

How to Perform

  • Start in an elbow plank with forearms flat on the floor, elbows under shoulders, and body in a straight line
  • Brace your core and keep your hips level throughout
  • Hop both feet to the left, landing softly with feet together
  • Hop back to the center position
  • Hop your feet to the right, completing one 3-point sequence
  • Return to center and immediately begin the next sequence
  • Keep your upper body still and let your core absorb each hop
