About this exercise

A mobility and stretching exercise that combines elbow extension with alternating forearm supination and pronation. It improves range of motion in the elbow and forearm rotators and is commonly used in rehabilitation and warm-up routines for activities involving repetitive gripping or throwing.

How to Perform

  • Sit or stand with one arm extended in front of you at shoulder height, elbow straight
  • Slowly rotate your forearm fully into supination (palm facing up) and hold for a moment
  • Then rotate your forearm fully into pronation (palm facing down) and hold for a moment
  • Continue alternating between supination and pronation in a smooth, controlled manner
  • Switch arms and repeat for the desired duration
