How to Perform

  • Stand with your feet hip-width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand in front of your thighs
  • Keep a slight, soft bend in your knees and maintain it throughout the movement
  • Hinge forward at the hips, pushing them back while lowering the dumbbells along the front of your legs
  • Keep your back flat, chest tall, and dumbbells close to your body at all times
  • Lower until you feel a strong stretch in your hamstrings, typically when dumbbells reach mid-shin
