MediumBiceps

About this exercise

A standing dumbbell curl variation that targets the short (inner) head of the biceps by rotating the palms to face outward at the top of the movement. This version emphasizes a deeper supination and a controlled eccentric to maximise the inner-biceps stretch.

How to Perform

  • Stand upright holding a dumbbell in each hand with arms fully extended at your sides
  • Rotate your wrists so your palms face outward (away from your body) before initiating the curl
  • Curl both dumbbells upward in a wide arc, keeping your elbows stationary at your sides
  • At the top, fully supinate and squeeze the inner biceps hard for one second
  • Lower the dumbbells slowly back to the starting position with your palms rotating back to neutral
  • Repeat for the desired number of repetitions
