About this exercise

A forearm exercise performed standing with dumbbells in both hands, rotating the forearms through their full range of supination and pronation. It targets both the wrist flexors and extensors simultaneously, improving grip strength and forearm balance.

How to Perform

  • Stand upright with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand at your sides
  • Bend your elbows to approximately 90 degrees so your forearms are parallel to the floor, palms facing up
  • Slowly rotate your forearms inward until palms face down (pronation)
  • Reverse the movement, rotating outward until palms face up again (supination)
  • Continue alternating between supination and pronation in a smooth, controlled manner
