How to Perform

  • Stand upright holding a dumbbell in each hand in front of your thighs, palms facing your body
  • Keep a slight bend in your elbows and your torso still
  • Raise one dumbbell straight in front of you to about shoulder height
  • Pause briefly, then lower it under control to the starting position
  • Repeat with the other arm, alternating sides each rep
  • Avoid swinging or leaning back
