About this exercise

A high-intensity compound complex combining dumbbell squats, alternating lunges, and explosive jumps into one continuous sequence. Builds lower body strength and power while significantly elevating the cardiovascular demand.

How to Perform

  • Stand with feet shoulder-width apart holding a dumbbell in each hand
  • Perform a squat by lowering your hips until your thighs are parallel to the floor, then stand up
  • Step forward into a lunge on one leg, lowering your back knee toward the floor
  • Return to standing and perform a lunge on the opposite leg
  • Explode upward into a jump, extending your hips and knees fully
  • Land softly with knees slightly bent and reset your stance
  • Repeat the entire sequence for the desired number of rounds
