The dumbbell seated double concentration curl is a bilateral biceps isolation exercise performed seated, with both elbows braced against the inner thighs. The concentrated positioning eliminates momentum and places maximum tension on the biceps throughout the full range of motion.

How to Perform

  • Sit on the edge of a bench or chair with feet wider than shoulder-width apart
  • Hold a dumbbell in each hand with palms facing up, elbows resting against the inner thighs
  • Keep your torso upright and brace your core
  • Curl both dumbbells simultaneously toward your shoulders, squeezing the biceps at the top
  • Pause briefly at peak contraction
  • Lower the dumbbells slowly back to the starting position in a controlled manner
  • Repeat for the desired number of repetitions
