How to Perform

  • Stand upright holding a dumbbell in each hand at your sides, feet together
  • Step forward with one foot into a lunge, lowering your rear knee toward the floor
  • As you descend into the lunge, curl both dumbbells upward toward your shoulders
  • At the bottom of the lunge, your front thigh should be roughly parallel to the floor
  • Lower the dumbbells as you push through your front heel to return to the standing position
  • Alternate legs with each repetition, maintaining an upright torso throughout
