About this exercise

A bilateral kneeling stretch that simultaneously targets both quadriceps by leaning the torso backward from a full kneeling position. It provides a deep stretch along the front of both thighs and is an effective cooldown for leg-intensive workouts.

How to Perform

  • Kneel on the floor with both knees on the ground, feet behind you
  • Place your hands on the floor behind you for support
  • Slowly lean your torso backward, lowering your hips toward your heels to increase the stretch in both quadriceps
  • Keep your core lightly braced and breathe steadily throughout
  • Hold the position for the desired duration
  • Carefully return to the starting position
