The Double Heel Lift Sit Against Wall is a calf-strengthening exercise performed in a seated wall-sit position. With your back against the wall and knees bent at roughly 90 degrees, you raise both heels simultaneously off the floor, isolating the calves against body weight.

How to Perform

  • Sit on the floor with your back flat against a wall, knees bent at approximately 90 degrees and feet flat on the floor
  • Keep your spine upright and core gently engaged
  • Press through the balls of both feet and lift both heels as high as possible
  • Squeeze the calves at the top of the movement
  • Lower your heels back to the floor in a controlled manner
  • Repeat for the target number of repetitions
