About this exercise

A face pull performed with two separate cables, one handle in each hand, pulled from the high pulleys toward the face with the elbows high. Two independent cables let each side work through its own path and widen the finish position, targeting the rear delts and upper back.

How to Perform

  • Set both pulleys high and grip one handle in each hand
  • Step back with your arms extended toward the machine
  • Pull both handles toward your face with your elbows high and wide
  • Squeeze the rear delts and shoulder blades at the end
  • Return under control and repeat
