About this exercise

A dynamic plyometric and cardio drill where you alternate diagonal punching motions across your body, engaging the shoulders, core, and obliques. The rotational component elevates heart rate while training anti-rotation stability.

How to Perform

  • Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, and fists raised to guard position near your chin
  • Drive one fist diagonally across your body toward the opposite shoulder level, rotating your torso and pivoting on the ball of your rear foot
  • Snap the arm back to guard and immediately punch diagonally with the other arm in the opposite direction
  • Keep your core braced throughout and maintain a controlled, rhythmic tempo
  • Continue alternating punches for the desired number of reps or duration
