About this exercise

The Crab Twist Toe Touch is a dynamic bodyweight exercise performed from a crab bridge position. By rotating the torso and reaching one hand toward the opposite raised foot, this movement challenges the obliques, core, and shoulder stability while promoting thoracic mobility.

How to Perform

  • Sit on the floor with your knees bent, feet flat, and hands placed behind you with fingers pointing away from your body
  • Press through your hands and feet to lift your hips off the floor into a crab bridge position
  • Extend your right leg and raise it while simultaneously lifting your left hand off the floor
  • Rotate your torso and reach your left hand toward your right foot, touching the toe if possible
  • Return to the crab bridge position under control
  • Repeat on the opposite side, raising your left leg and reaching with your right hand
  • Continue alternating sides for the desired number of repetitions
