About this exercise

The Corner Wall Chest Stretch uses a room corner to simultaneously stretch both sides of the chest and the front deltoids. By placing both forearms on adjacent walls and leaning in, gravity assists in opening the pectoral muscles.

How to Perform

  • Stand facing the corner of a room and raise both arms to shoulder height, bending the elbows to 90 degrees
  • Place one forearm on each wall so your upper arms are parallel to the floor
  • Lean your body gently forward into the corner, feeling the stretch spread across both sides of the chest and the front of the shoulders
  • Keep your core braced and avoid arching your lower back excessively
  • Hold the stretch while breathing calmly, then step back to release
