About this exercise

Knee Circles is a mobility and warm-up exercise that moves the knee joint through a full circular range of motion to improve flexibility and lubricate the joint. It gently stretches the calves, hamstrings, and surrounding knee structures, making it useful as part of a leg warm-up or cool-down.

How to Perform

  • Stand upright with your feet together and place both hands on your knees
  • Bend your knees slightly and shift your weight to the balls of your feet
  • Begin making slow, controlled circular movements with your knees, guiding them with your hands
  • Complete the desired number of circles in one direction
  • Reverse the direction and perform the same number of circles
  • Keep your feet flat on the ground and your movements smooth throughout
