About this exercise
The cable incline fly on a stability ball is a chest isolation exercise that combines the constant tension of cables with the instability of a ball, requiring additional core engagement throughout the movement. By lying back on a stability ball at an incline angle between two low cable pulleys, the upper pectoral fibers are targeted with an enhanced stretch at the bottom of each rep. The unstable surface adds a balance challenge that recruits stabilising muscles in the core and shoulders.
