About this exercise

The Boxing Cross-Hook-Cross Combo is a powerful three-punch combination that develops rotational power, upper-body coordination, and cardiovascular conditioning. The sequence alternates straight and lateral punches, demanding hip rotation and timing to execute correctly.

How to Perform

  • Stand in a boxing stance with your non-dominant foot forward, knees slightly bent, and hands raised to guard
  • Drive a straight rear-hand cross forward, rotating your hips and shoulders fully into the punch
  • Without resetting, immediately follow with a lead-hand hook, bending your elbow to approximately 90 degrees and sweeping horizontally
  • Finish the combination with a second rear-hand cross, again rotating powerfully through the hips
  • Retract each punch quickly back to guard position before launching the next
  • Keep your chin tucked and your non-punching hand protecting your face throughout
  • Repeat the combination for the desired number of rounds or repetitions
