About this exercise

A high-intensity cardio and core exercise where you perform mountain climbers with your hands placed on the flat side of an inverted BOSU ball, adding wrist and shoulder stability demands to the classic movement. The instability of the platform intensifies core activation and upper-body engagement.

How to Perform

  • Flip the BOSU ball over so the flat platform faces up and place it on the floor
  • Get into a high plank position with both hands gripping the edges of the flat platform, arms straight
  • Brace your core and keep your hips level, forming a straight line from head to heels
  • Drive one knee toward your chest, then quickly switch legs in a running motion
  • Continue alternating legs at a fast, controlled pace for the set duration
  • Keep your shoulders stacked over your wrists and avoid letting your hips rise or sag
