About this exercise

A dynamic plyometric exercise that combines a bodyweight squat with a lateral shuffle step, developing leg power, agility, and cardiovascular endurance simultaneously.

How to Perform

  • Stand with feet shoulder-width apart and toes pointing slightly outward
  • Lower into a squat until your thighs are parallel to the floor, keeping your chest up
  • Explosively push up out of the squat and shuffle two quick steps to one side
  • Land softly with bent knees and immediately lower back into a squat
  • Explode up again and shuffle back to the starting side
  • Continue alternating left and right for the desired number of repetitions
