A bodyweight movement that pairs a reverse lunge with a trunk rotation, developing unilateral lower-body strength, hip stability, and rotational core control simultaneously. The rear lunge variation reduces knee stress compared to the forward lunge.

  • Step one foot backward and lower into a reverse lunge until both knees approach 90 degrees
  • At the bottom of the lunge, rotate your upper body toward the front leg
  • Rotate back to center, then drive through the front foot to return to standing
