How to Perform

  • Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart and arms at your sides
  • Take a controlled step backward with one foot, lowering your back knee toward the floor
  • As you descend into the lunge, raise both arms straight in front of you to shoulder height
  • Pause briefly at the bottom with your front thigh parallel to the floor
  • Push through your front heel to return to standing while lowering your arms
  • Repeat for the desired reps on one side, then switch legs
  • Keep your front knee aligned over your foot and your torso upright throughout
