How to Perform

  • Start in a tall kneeling position with both knees on the floor, hips extended, and core braced
  • Hold the kneeling position for a moment to establish balance
  • Step one foot forward and plant it flat on the floor in a half-kneeling position
  • Drive through the front foot and squeeze your glutes to rise to a full standing position
  • Lower back down under control, reversing the movement to return to the starting kneeling position
  • Alternate the leading leg each rep or complete all reps on the same side
