About this exercise

A prone bodyweight exercise where you simultaneously lift your chest, arms, and legs off the floor while reaching your arms backward toward your feet. The movement activates the glutes, lower back, and posterior chain through full spinal and hip extension.

How to Perform

  • Lie face down on a mat with your legs straight and arms resting alongside your body
  • Simultaneously lift your chest, arms, and legs off the floor
  • Reach your arms straight back toward your feet as you extend your spine and hips fully
  • Squeeze your glutes at the top and hold briefly
  • Slowly lower everything back to the starting position and repeat
