About this exercise

A bodyweight biceps exercise using a towel as resistance. You loop a towel under one foot, hold both ends, and curl against the towel's resistance while focusing on squeezing the biceps hard at the top. The towel provides accommodating resistance and can be used anywhere without equipment.

How to Perform

  • Stand upright and loop a towel under your front foot, holding one end in each hand
  • Keep your elbow close to your body and your upper arm stationary
  • Curl your hands upward against the resistance of the towel in a controlled arc
  • Squeeze your biceps hard at the top of the movement
  • Lower your hands slowly back to the starting position, maintaining tension on the towel
